AUSTRALIAN DELIVERY INFORMATION
Monday to Saturday - Guaranteed Same Day Delivery (Excluding Public Holidays)

1.  Within our delivery Area, we offer a delivery service to MOST business and private addresses by 5pm (Orders MUST be in by AEST12noon).
2.   GENERALLY, your order must be placed by AEST 12:00noon on the desired day of delivery in order for it to be sent on our delivery service. NOTE:  Conditions may apply for this as it largely depends on the distance of your desired delivery location.

3.   It is often possible for Cairns Flowers to still offer same day delivery for orders placed after AEST12noon, especially if the destination is within close proximity to our nearest location to the point of delivery.
Please be mindful that additional charges may apply depending on the time of day your order is placed and/or depending on the distance to which you require delivery.

Saturday Deliveries
Although we will try our very best to deliver according to your time request on Saturday, we cannot guarantee any specific timed deliveries on this day.
For same day delivery, all orders must be placed before 11am on Saturday.

Public Holiday Deliveries and Sunday Deliveries
Please be advised that delivery restrictions within our Cairns Flowers Delivery Area may vary between States on Public Holidays. A minimum surcharge of $18.50 may apply and specific deliveries and may also be unavailable on these days. If you place an order for an area to which we are not servicing on a Public Holiday,  Cairns Flowers  will contact you to notify you of any restrictions and to discuss alternative delivery arrangements. Delivery on Sunday and Public Holidays may not available and Cairns Flowers would like to apologise for any inconvenience.

Online orders placed on Saturday and Sunday ALL orders placed after 11am on Saturday and at any time of day on Sunday will be processed on the following Monday morning. Any specific information about your delivery will be forwarded to you at that time. When ordering online, please clearly indicate any specific delivery requests in the 'Additional Comments' field on the order page.

The recommended time frame to place any order for delivery is 1 day before you require delivery. While we aim to match the flowers presented on this site to your order, due to seasonal factors this is not always possible. Therefore, our pictures should be used as a guide only. Note: We do require a local contact telephone number for the recipient.

Notification of Delivery Fees
Should delivery restrictions or additional charges apply for your order placed online, you will be contacted by a Cairns Flowers representative by telephone and if unsuccessful, then via email. You will receive an automatic email confirmation of receipt of your order shortly after your order is submitted. This does not mean that your order and delivery requirements have been processed, only that your order has been successfully placed online.

Note: We do require a valid phone number and email address on your order to assist in contacting you immediately should one of our Sales Team have any questions or concerns regarding your order.

Quality & Flower Maintenance
At Cairns Flowers we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and services. It is important to remember that flowers are a perishable, natural product that will react to their immediate indoor environment and external weather conditions. Cairns Flowers ensure only the freshest and highest quality flowers. Unfortunately once we dispatch our flowers a number of changes in condition may result in their longevity being reduced. Care instructions must be followed thoroughly in order to increase the life span and enjoyment of your flowers. To assist in prolonging their life, we recommend cutting the stems on a sharp angle with sharp scissors and changing the water in the vase every two days

Return and Refund Policy
Cairns Flowers guarantee to use only fresh, quality flowers. (Flowers are double checked before dispatched by Cairns Flowers). When flowers are delivered and signed for, you are signing that you accept. We will not take any further responsibility if the flowers are not taken care of. Returns and refunds will be by managements discretion.

Cancellation of Orders
Should you need to cancel your order, money will be refunded less a $10 administrative fee, ONLY IF notice is received by Cairns Flowers, 24
hours prior to the scheduled delivery date. Cancellations received with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at 20% of the total order value. We are unable to cancel orders that are already prepared and are with our courier for delivery.

Orders will not be despatched until payment in full has been received and Cairns Flowers is satisfied with the integrity of the order.
Incorrect Address
It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. If the delivery details you have given are incorrect Cairns Flowers will not refund. Should you wish to send the flowers again it will be at full expense to the customer.

Disclosure of Information
Under no circumstances will Cairns Flowers sell or receive payments or services for disclosing customer's personal information. Unless we are required by law to disclose such information Cairns Flowers will not disclose personal information that may be given to us to any organisation or person outside of the company. Please note that by accessing, using or browsing this web-site you agree to be bound by its terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability ("Terms and Conditions"). Cairns Flowers reserves the right to amend or update such terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability at any time without providing notice to you. By using the web-site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

ORDER PROCEDURES

1. SENDING AN ORDER

It is the customers responsibility to keep up-to-date with all changes and condition.

2. ORDERS
Transmission Categories

Funeral Orders - All orders for Funerals must be flagged "Funeral".

3. ORDER DETAILS
Complete and correct name and address are essential.

Be sure that you have obtained and entered the following information:-

Full name of the recipient - Given name particularly for hospital deliveries e.g. Mrs. Jane Mackintosh NOT Mr. J Mackintosh.
Please include the maiden name in brackets i.e. Mrs. Jane Mackintosh (nee Smith).

For office blocks, flats etc. include the name of the company and complex, floor and room number.

Remember orders cannot be sent to P.O. Boxes.
If the recipient is visiting or living with another family include that family's name and "care of "e.g. Mrs. Lanet Mackay c/- Mrs. Barbara Smith.

(d) MOST IMPORTANTLY obtain the recipient's phone number.

(e) Orders to offices, businesses, factories, hospitals, units etc. should include the recipient's home address or phone number because of flexi-hours and shorter hospital stays etc.

(f) Incomplete Addresses.
Orders that prove to be undeliverable because of incomplete or incorrect delivery addresses may be back charged.  If you the customer is uncertain of the address or the information provided is insufficient, DO NOT SEND the order.

4. RESTRICKED DELIVERY - (R)

(a) Due to their remoteness of some towns, some towns are not serviced for same-day delivery

(b) Since delivery is most probably by public transport, delivery may take up to 48 hours; and
The recipient may have to collect the item from a central place, such as the post office or general store, we must have the recipient's telephone number in order to advise them of this. The order may have to be constructed and packed for transport and therefore the style chosen must be suitable.

6. HOSPITAL ORDERS

(a) Obtain the recipient's full given name as well as ward number or name, hospital name and location.
(b) In case the recipient has been discharged by the time the order is delivered try to make sure you obtain the recipient's HOME ADDRESS, particularly with shorter stays and day surgery.
(c) Be careful to establish that the recipient is in an area within the hospital where flowers are permitted.
(d) It is advisable: Not to send loose cut flowers - usually there are limited suitable vases available.
(e) Not to send large arrangements as space is sometimes restricted.
(f) Be aware some hospitals do not allow plants.
(g) Be aware some hospitals do not allow flowers in the intensive care and other special units.

Note:- Prior to making and delivering orders, florist will phone the hospital to establish that the intended recipient is still in hospital and can receive flowers / plants.

7. SHIP DELIVERIES

These requires special care and attention. .
(a) The order should be transmitted at least one full day in advance of the ship's departure date.
The small size of most cabins dictates that container arrangements be kept small.
Address information must include:
(I) Full name of passenger
(2) Name of shipping line
(3) Name of ship
(4) Cabin number / Deck number
(5) Exact time of departure

Note:- Prior to making and delivering orders, florist will phone the Ship to establish that the intended recipient is still departing and can receive flowers / plants.

8. FUNERAL ORDERS
Name and address information is most essential for funeral orders.
(1) The full name of the deceased.
(2) The name and address of the funeral home and the address and phone numbers of a relative of the deceased are needed.
(3) The date and time of the funeral are also essential.
If funeral details are not known, the florist may be able to check locally for time and location. Florist will phone first before sending the order.
(4) You the customer must leave your name and phone number, in case a problem develops.
9. AIRPLANE AND TRAIN DELIVERIES
These orders are NOT ACCEPTED and are avoided. Florist are unable to deliver to Airplanes or Trains due to security restrictions.

10. SUNDAY, PUBLIC HOLIDAYS & PEAK PERIODS
(i) Sundays & Saturday (PM)
These require special care. Saturday (PM) and Sunday deliveries cannot be guaranteed

11. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
These orders will be confirmed with florist before sending. Orders generally get delivered next business day.

12. FLORIST DEFINITION OF A DELIVERY AND DIFFICULT DELIVERING THE ORDER

(a) Definition of delivery for members is that a delivery is deemed to have been effected when the arrangement, as ordered, is delivered to the address indicated on the order PROVIDED THAT, if the recipient is not at home, a "Flower Delivery Notice" (not at home card) is left with the appropriate box marked to indicate what was done with the item.
(b) If an order is received for a suite / unit and a phone number has not been obtained,
we will try to locate a phone number. If unsuccessful, Cairns Flowers will contact the customer to receive further instructions. If no contact can be made, the florist will then cancel the order and a refund to the customer will be made. If the customer is contacted and confirms the address is correct, and delivery is made, Florist will hold no responsibility to lost or stolen flowers if customer is not home (A "Flower Delivery Notice" (not at home card) is left with the appropriate box marked to indicate what was done with the item). If delivery is made and courier can not gain access customers will be charged rate of  courier to bring back the flowers
